Confrontation in the UN: Addressing the Denials of Jewish History
The theme of this Shabbat dinner is the celebrateion of the Jewish connection to Israel. As a part of this, we will have a short D’var Torah/discussion about the denial of Jeiwsh history in Israel at the UN and in the Arab world, which will be led by MJE’s Rabbi Jonathan Feldman and the ZOA’s Zach Stern.
The schedule for the evening is as follows:
7 PM — Services in the main sanctuary with 5th Avenue Synagogue
8 PM — Dinner, drinking, and shmoozing (D’var Torah during a brief portion of dinner)
Cost: $36, which includes services, dinner, and the open bar!
