**Please note that if you intend to donate blood, after registering on eventbrite, you must also make an appointment**
Mitzvah Fair Activities:
Mezuzah & Tefillin checking
Canned Food Drive
9:15am – Minyan Madness
10:15am – Class with Rabbi Wildes on Loving Kindness
11am-1pm – Peak Blood Drive and Mitzvah Fair Hours
*The peak hours are 11am-1pm, but Blood drive will continue until 3pm if you can’t make it during those hours.
If You’re Donating Blood, Remember to…
Be sure to drink plenty of fluids on the day of your donation
Wear Something Comfortable
Wear clothing with sleeves that can easily be rolled up above the elbow.
Bring a List of Medications You Are Taking
We will need to know about any prescription and/or over the counter medications that may be in your system.
Bring an ID
Please bring either your donor card, driver’s license, or some form of photo ID.
Bring a Friend
Bring along a friend, so that you may both enjoy the benefits of giving blood.
Maintain a Healthy Level of Iron in Your Diet Before Donating
If possible, include iron-rich foods in your diet, such as spinach, broccoli, red meats, raisins, etc.
