Celebrate Hanukkah with crafts, gallery hunts, a concert and candle lighting!
Create holiday crafts with Brooklyn based artist Marna Chester and enjoy multi sensory activities also suitable for blind or low vision. Sing along with Elad Kabilio & Music Talks ensemble as they perform songs from different cultures inspired by the Festival of Lights. Light the menorah, go on a gallery hunt and tour Yeshiva University Museum’s exhibit, “The Arch of Titus—from Jerusalem to Rome, and Back” (the 12:30 tour includes verbal description for the blind).
Tours of the Center for Jewish History as well as the following exhibitions will be available: “1917: How One Year Changed the World” (presented by The American Jewish Historical Society (AJHS), National Museum of American Jewish History, and Yeshiva University Museum) and “The Arch of Titus – from Jerusalem to Rome, and Back” (presented by the Yeshiva University Museum).
