Center for Jewish History

Join the American Friends of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra as we collaborate with the Center for Jewish History and The Royal Conservatory for a poignant evening of film and music. The event begins with a screening of EXIT: MUSIC, a documentary that focuses on how anti-Semitism affected Jewish composers, including those who landed in Israel and composed for the Palestine Symphony. Next, enjoy a performance of the music by the acclaimed Grammy nominated ARC Ensemble, followed by a Q & A with the film’s writer and Director of the ARC Ensemble, Simon Wynberg, and concluding with a private reception.

Tickets $50 and $100. Email EVENTS@AFIPO.ORG or call 212-267-2949 for details.
