Stories bring people together, and don’t we need a lot more of that these days? Come for a chill vibe on Thursday night, December 6th, for an evening of personal stories from Muslim and Jewish performers on the theme of Lighten Up.

Ophira Eisenberg

The host of NPR’s and WNYC’s new weekly trivia, puzzle, and game show Ask Me Another. It’s half raucous pub trivia, half comedy talk show with witty banter, celebrity guests, and live music blended in.

Recently I performed on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. I’ve also appeared on Comedy Central, VH-1, The Today Show, TV Guide Channel’s Standup In Stilettos, Fox, E! Channel, CNN, Oxygen Network, and the AXS Network.

Maryam Zaringhalam
Maryam Zaringhalam is a molecular biologist who traded in her pipettes for the world of science policy and advocacy after receiving her PhD from The Rockefeller University. She is currently based in Washington, DC where she is an AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellow, producer for The Story Collider, and a leadership member of 500 Women Scientists. Dahlia Lithwick
Dahlia Lithwick is a senior editor at Slate. Her work has also appeared in the New York Times, Harper’s, The New Yorker, The Washington Post, The New Republic, and Commentary, among other places. She is host of Amicus, Slate’s award-winning biweekly podcast about the law and the Supreme Court.
