Neo-Chassidism is an approach to Judaism based on the teachings of the early Chassidic masters for Jews who live outside the closed world of today’s Chassidic communities. It embraces the joyous service of God as life’s highest goal, to be achieved through daily acts of goodness as one goes through life. The first great collection of Neo-Chassidic teachings, A New Hasidism, Roots and Branches, will be published this year by The Jewish Publication Society. To celebrate, its editors, Arthur Green and Ariel Evan Mayse, will be joined by friends and contributors to these volumes for a day of Neo-Chassidic teaching, conversation, meditation, and song. Join us to discover (and help to create!) a passionate Jewish spirituality for the 21st century.
