In 1939, 20,000 Nazi supporters rallied in Madison Square Garden in the heart of New York City. When Academy Award-nominated documentarian Marshall Curry stumbled upon footage of the rally, he was shocked—and driven to create his short film A Night at the Garden (nominated for Academy Award for Best Documentary Short Subject).
Join us for a screening of this short film, co-presented with PBS, and a discussion with Marshall Curry about the history and rise of Nazism in the United States.
Free; advance registration recommended
