Artists have depicted animals and their habitats across cultures and time periods. We’ll explore the museum and discover animals in paintings, sculptures, and decorative arts from around the world. Art can help us explore our relationship to the animal world and can help us think about how we care for animals and the environment.
Theme: Abstraction: line, color, form and texture — in action!

Discover the revolutionary ideas of abstract artists as they explored what it means to create artworks that don’t look like objects or living things. We’ll practice expressing ideas, feelings, and sensations, through lines, colors, forms, and textures.
