We would like to invite you to our next event inspired by TuBShvat, The New Year of The Trees.
Program include parenting workshops for adults of any age and stage(young or grandparents),
and children activities separated by ages in groups starting at 3 years old and up to 16.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
FOR ADULTS:
Peaceful Parent workshop by NLP practitioner and life coach Misha Leder. During the workshop we will recognize our fears and our expectations of ourselves as parents. We will get to see how these fears and expectations are in the way of our relationship with people close to us. By the end of workshop we will get a clear understanding of how to be with our children and how to let our children be themselves.
Second part of our meeting will discuss possible challenges of parenting and include a workshop by a therapist from North Shore Child and Family Guidance center addressing possible challenges of parenting such as dealing with anxious or depressed child, as well as child with phobias, ADHD and other possible mental challenges. Because It’s always better to be informed and know where to go for guidance!
For children starting at 3 years old (workshops are separated by age groups)
Kids will hear an edible story of TuBShvat, followed by workshop creating edible fruits and vegetable sculptures with Stacy Izrailtyan. They will also participate in clay workshop led by Brian Kishinevsky
For teens:
Workshop by Stacy Izrailtyan learning to do fruit curving. Brian Kishinevsky will be teaching how to work with hea and plastic recylce transforming it into Art, a workshop inspired by Dale Chihuly
Space in children classes is limited. Please register early.
FOOD? Light Refreshments including fruit/vegetable platters, Coffee&Tea will be served. BYOB.
