About the training: WERQ Dance Fitness Instructor Certification prepares you to teach safe and effective WERQ Dance Fitness classes. WERQ® is the fiercely fun dance fitness workout class based on pop and hip-hop music. There are over 600 pre-choreographed routines in the online WERQ library. Instructors choose the routines to make unique playlists. The training day will cover the basics for teaching safe and effective dance fitness classes to large groups and the concepts and teaching methods specific to the WERQ dance fitness brand. All participants will experience a live WERQ Class and practice The 3Q1 Method of cueing WERQ classes. During the training, each participant must complete (and pass) two exams to access the WERQforce online library and leave with a license to WERQ.

12:15PM-12:30PM — Registration
12:30PM-1:45PM — Dance Fitness Concepts including anatomy, alignment, cardiovascular training and beyond.
2:00PM-3:00PM — Pop Up WERQ Class
3:00PM-3:30PM — Break
3:30PM-8:00PM — WERQ Concepts, Class Design & Cueing

What to bring: Please bring water, snacks, change of workout clothes, sweatshirt, highlighter, and a pencil for the exam.
Participants must attend the training in its entirety to receive the Certification.
Continuing Education: This course has been approved for 8.0 AFAA CEUs, 0.8 NASM Credits, and 0.7 ACE CECs.
WERQforce: WERQ is a pre-choreographed dance fitness format. All Licensed WERQ Instructors are required to be a member of the WERQforce to stay licensed and to access the Official WERQ Choreography Online Library. A WERQforce membership is $175/year or $18/month + 30 day FREE trial.
Training refunds: There are no refunds for WERQ Instructor Trainings. Transfers are accepted to another individual at no charge, or to another training with a transfer fee. To transfer, contact shop@werqfitness.com.
