Community organizer and writer Adam Eli highlights some of his favorite works in Scenes from the Collection, addressing the intersection of queer identity and Jewish culture.

About the Speaker:
Adam Eli is a community organizer and writer based in New York City. He is the founder of Voices4, a non-violent direct action activist group committed to advancing global queer liberation. In 2018 he was named by OUT Magazine as one of the 100 most influential queer people in the world. Eli uses Judaism as the framework for his queer activism. Inspired by the Talmud’s “Kol Yisrael Arevim Zeh BaZeh / All of the people of Israel are responsible for each other,” he says, “Queer people anywhere are responsible for queer people everywhere.”

This program is presented in partnership with the Stonewall 50 Consortium and will feature ASL Interpretation.

Free with RSVP; Includes Museum Admission
